Toronto, ON, November 8, 2006 - TD Capital Private Equity Investors, the private equity fund of funds and co-investment arm of TD Bank Financial Group, today announced the opening of the firm's London, UK office.

TD Capital has built a successful thirty-six year track record of global private equity investing, and has been active in Europe for nearly two decades. The London office will work seamlessly with the TD Capital team in Toronto, Canada to expand the firm's presence and reach in Europe and globally.

Michael Flood, Vice President and Director, TD Capital Private Equity Investors, has relocated from the Toronto office to London to lead the firm's European activities. Mr. Flood joined TD Capital in 2001. He has over seven years experience in the private equity industry.
