Mr. Austin joined TD Capital in 2005.  Prior to joining TD Capital, Mr. Austin was a principal at Voorheis & Co., a shareholder advisory and investment firm, where he assisted institutional investors, including TD Capital, on a range of strategic, financial and management issues related to their portfolio companies and had responsibility for a variety of principal investments.  Previously, Mr. Austin was in the investment banking group of BMO Nesbitt Burns where he worked on a variety of corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions assignments.

Mr. Austin received his A.B. (Honours) from Harvard University and his B.A (Law) and M.St. (Law and Economics) from Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship.  He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
