Mr. Carew joined TD Capital in 2008 and has over nine years' experience in the private equity industry. Prior to joining TD Capital, Mr. Carew worked at CalPERS, helping manage a $40 billion private equity program, where he was responsible for the Global venture capital and Asian private equity strategies. Previously, Mr. Carew was a Partner with KIMC, a boutique private equity advisory firm and spent six years in the venture capital group at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan executing a fund and co-investment strategy. Mr. Carew's prior experience includes various financial and accounting roles.

Mr. Carew received his Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from Concordia University and holds the Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations.
